LA County Supervisor Don Knabe 

Endorses Ted Lieu for Congress

 
August 5, 2014 - LA County Supervisor Don Knabe has endorsed State Senator Ted Lieu for Congress. Knabe represents the communities of El Segundo, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Marina del Rey, Palos Verdes Estates, Rancho Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, Rolling Hills, Rolling Hills Estates and Torrance, all of which are in CD 33. Los Angeles County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky also supports Lieu. Knabe and Yaroslavsky combine to represent 99% of CD 33’s residents. 

"Ted Lieu and I have worked closely over the years to bring real results to our communities.  He's demonstrated he can effectively work across party lines and has passed legislation the California Chamber of Commerce called a "Job Creator."  We are currently working together in our fight against human trafficking of minors.  I know Ted Lieu will be an effective advocate for our community and I wholeheartedly endorse him for Congress," said Supervisor Knabe.

State Senator Ted Lieu's district comprises more than 80 percent of the voters in CD 33. Lieu is a long-time resident of the district, an Air Force veteran and has served time on the Torrance City Council, State Assembly and State Senate.
