State Senator and Air Force Reservist Ted Lieu, Candidate for Congress in the 33rd Congressional District issued the following statement on the kidnapping-murder of three Israeli teenagers:

I am saddened to hear Israeli teenagers Eyal Yifrach, Naftali Fraenkel and Gil-Ad Shaar were found today by Israeli soldiers in a shallow grave outside Hebron." 

“The death of any young person is tragic, and as a parent I cannot imagine the pain that the families of Eyal, Naftali and Gilad are going through.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families for their loss.

“The taking of these young innocent lives, one an American citizen, should have never happened.  I stand with Israel to condemn these senseless murders and call for the perpetrators to be brought to justice.  Those involved from Hamas should be held accountable for these murders.”
